Involucrarse:

 

  • ¡Se necesita un pueblo! Si está interesado en ser voluntario de una manera grande o pequeña, la PTA de SGE es un gran lugar para comenzar. Para unirse, hay una donación asociada de $ 5, la mayoría de los cuales se destina a la organización PTA Nacional. Haga clic aquí para unirse.

While many public schools have faced major cuts to critical programs and services, SGE is in a position to keep fundamental and valuable programs that are part of our school's culture.

But only with your help.

¿Cómo se gastan las donaciones? Aquí hay unos ejemplos:

  • $ 50  paga una lección de ajedrez de segundo grado.

  • $ 150   paga el autobús para una excursión de grado.

Our 2022-2023 Goals:

​

  1. Raise $30,000 for community needs, including curriculum, classroom and staff/teacher support, family engagement events and more.
     

  2. Register 500 volunteers through CMS (one for every scholar at SGE).

How can you help?

Volunteer & Community Giving Opportunities:

 

  • Join the SGE PTA! It takes a village! If you are interested in volunteering in a big or small way, the SGE PTA is a great place to start. To join, there is an associated donation of $5 (a majority of which goes to the National PTA organization). 
     

  • Volunteer:

    • ​Register to become a volunteer at cmsvolunteers.com.

    • Contact SGE PTA board via Facebook or yourshamrockpta@gmail.com for volunteer opportunities or to share your ideas!

    • Reach out to staff or teachers to find needs within school.
       

  • Amazon Smile: Register under "PTA North Carolina Congress Shamrock Garden Elem School PTA," and a percentage of your purchases go towards the school.
    ​

  • Harris Teeter Together in Education: Link to SGE (code 3961) and begin earning money for the school.
    ​

  • Boxtops for Education: Download the app and log your receipts to collect.

Monetary Donations:

  • For monetary donations via Zelle (the preferred method) or PayPal (fees associated), click the donate button at the top of this his page!
    ​

  • Download and fill out a donation form and drop the completed form and payment in the PTA box by front office. Mail the completed form and check to: SGE PTA – 3301 Country Club Drive Charlotte, NC 28205  Make checks payable to: Shamrock Gardens Elementary PTA.
     

  • Donations are tax deductible! (NC PTA Group Exemption Number (GEM) 8535, EIN#: 56-1684429)
     

  • All donations are kept confidential.

Don’t forget! Check with your employer to see if they offer corporate matching gifts to increase your donation amount. Employer matches are common, and they make a difference!
